Retail:
Seeking energetic people with retail experience who possess excellent customer service skills and basic retail expertise. Will welcome and greet studio owners, teachers, dancers and families and assist in registration, sales, turning in of CD’s, and will also assist in awards presentations. Tabulator:
Should be very organized, efficient, and quick to troubleshoot and problem solve. Knowledge of dance is encouraged. Oversees the quick paced awards presentation and deals directly with the dancers. Please provide a resume with appropriate experience.
Emcee:
Introduces routines during the competition while also running the sound and music for the event. Must have an excellent “mic” speaking voice. Will introduce Judges and Awards Presenter and must be able to improvise from the stage. Training for sound system will be provided. Judge:
Experienced dancers and teachers with a working knowledge of the industry. We look for professional dancers who have extensive teaching experience and especially teachers that are currently teaching in the studio. Basic knowledge in ALL forms of dance a requirement. Backstage Manager:
Works closely with studio directors, teachers and dancers, must have a very professional manner and be able to troubleshoot quickly and keep the show running on time. Assists teachers with scheduling conflicts and props. Experience in typical dance competition situations is required. Also presents adjudicated awards, overall and specialty awards.
